Even the toughest off-road challenges have met their match with TRX-4® Sport High Trail™ Edition. A factory-installed Long Arm Lift Kit amplifies TRX-4 Sport’s performance-focused all-terrain capability with even more ground clearance. High-angle bumpers and fully-locked axles provide nearly unstoppable climbing versatility with the show-stopping looks of the High Trail Edition’s rugged Expedition Rack and scale accessories.
The High Trail Edition TRX-4 Sport gets you up and over obstacles with a factory-installed Long Arm Lift Kit for over an inch more ground clearance than the standard TRX-4. Oversize Canyon Trail tires ride on 2.2″ black 5-spoke wheels to tame the most technical trails with extreme all-terrain traction.
New to TRX-4 Sport, the High Trail Edition’s clipless body combines clean flowing lines with secure latching convenience. TRX-4 Sport’s hidden latches hold tight on the trail no matter how intense the action gets, but release in just seconds to access the chassis.
TRX-4 High Trail Edition comes fully outfitted for adventure with a tough Expedition Rack and molded accessories. A replica snorkel, side mirrors, traction boards, fire extinguisher, jack, and fuel canisters provide extreme scale detail with inner fenders for a realistic appearance.

Highly Detailed Body
TRX-4 Sport High Trail Edition features precision-molded details for a whole new level of scale realism. A rugged Adventure Rack protects the body from rollovers and holds a full complement of trail accessories. The molded side mirrors, grille, tailgate, and winch provide the perfect scale touches.
Factory-Installed Long Arm Lift Kit
The Traxxas Long Arm Lift Kit includes extended GTS aluminum shocks, longer links and rod ends, extended driveshafts and a new servo mount. The lift kit works as one cohesive system not only to raise the truck, but also to maintain TRX-4’s carefully tuned suspension geometry.
Clipless Convenience
High Trail Edition Sport’s heavy-duty clipless body mounts integrate into its rugged inner fenders to form a vise-like grip. When it’s time to release the body, simply reach under the fender and pull the tabs. It’s that easy.
Heavy-Duty Frame Rails
A thick 1.5 mm steel ladder frame with molded cross members provides exceptional torsional rigidity to resist even the worst chassis twisting articulation. This extremely rigid backbone lets the suspension do the work it was designed to do. You’ll feel the difference on trails where the elimination of chassis flex allows for precise wheel placement when navigating technical terrain.
Raised Center Driveshafts and Suspension Links
TRX-4’s radical portal axle design raises the driveshafts higher to improve axle geometry and reduce driveshaft angles. Higher driveshafts and suspension links pass over obstacles to avoid high-centering your truck and reduce overall grinding wear.
Single Speed Transmission
Geared for raw torque, the single-speed transmission sheds valuable weight from the Sport’s chassis for better weight distribution. Steel gears provide Traxxas-Tough durability and virtually maintenance-free operation.
Molded Inner Fenders and Floor Pans
Tough inner fenders mount directly to the frame and shock towers to provide substantial look and feel to TRX-4 Sport High Trail Edition. Molded floor pans integrate into the fenders to keep rocks, mud, and twigs out of the chassis.
Titan 21T 550 Motor
Torque rules the trail! TRX-4’s massive Titan 21T motor pumps out huge torque to get you up and over anything that gets in the way. An integrated cooling fan keeps temperatures down for extended run times.
2.2" Canyon Trail Tires
TRX-4 Sport High Trail Edition rides on oversize Canyon Trail tires for additional ground clearance and rock-crawling performance. The ultra-soft S1-compound rubber and aggressive lug pattern delivers unmatched grip and rugged climbing action.
Extended-Length 110mm GTS Shocks
High Trail Edition Sport’s extra-long 110mm GTS coil-over shocks are oil-filled to smooth out even the roughest trails. These silver-anodized aluminum shocks deliver silky-smooth damping and feature threaded bodies for easy ride height adjustment. The convincing scale realism looks great and they perform even better with an O-ring cap seal and dual X-ring shaft seals.
Torque Twist Eliminated
Portal axles use gear reduction at the wheels to virtually eliminate torque twist. The Titan 550 motor’s torque translates into straight, powerful, forward motion, rather than wasted energy twisting your rig right off the rocks.
Locked Axles
Full-time locked front and rear axles transform the motor’s torque into unstoppable climbing action. With no slippage possible, all four wheels claw with equal traction, powering TRX-4 Sport over the toughest obstacles.
